Presence Is Well Known

Nerves tantalizing

Felt all throughout the finger tips

Just to the touch of her soft skin

Scented, smell of lavender

Lamp dimmed

Drawn back to sketch a better picture of her

Knowing the kind of hell she’s been through

It’s your calming presence, that sends a chills down her spine

So easily to trace her curves, with sweaty palms gliding over her nakedness

She’s just cooling off from the outside heat

Remembering the call, she gave you, from the coma she was in

Her throat dry, the cold ice melts to soon in her mouth

Only thing she wants for the moment

“Come join me in the bed”

Cool night air soon to come

“Come and join me.”

One Voice Wakes Me

Under my care

Sweet has your lying there

Under certain light

The hue makes you glow

You flinch while dreaming

And I know my shadow cant be seen from behind your eyes

Cause the coma has taken you!

And my only wish is, for you to WAKE

What more can I do?

What more can I say?

Cant hear me either way

Patience has a thin wire

Paced enough back and forth

No rest until you wake

I don’t care, I don’t care

What the doctors have said

I leave to rest

Light coming in from the window

The warmth

Waking you

From this coma

From the phone ringing

The answer, it brings such relief

To hear your voice from the other side
